The major conclusion on game week 8 is that Liverpool refuses to lose which shows the strong mentality the club has acquired. In other games, Arsenal continues to impress their fans with the emphatic victory against Fulham with 1-5, while Eden Hazard led Chelsea to another victory against Southampton. At Old Trafford, Manchester United won Newcastle with 3-2 after a dramatic game and Jose Mourinho continues in United’s bench until further notice.
Comments: Real Madrid and Barcelona for a third consecutive game week and they are on the 4th and 3rd position respectively. Thus, Real Madrid considers a potential transfer of Eden Hazard in January to replace the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. Also, Barcelona’s priority is Frenkie De Jong from Ajax to amplify their midfield significantly (read more). On the other hand, Sevilla won Celta Vigo 2-1, and they moved on the top of La Liga. The point is how long they will be competitive to fight for La Liga’s title.
Comments: Inter Milan won Spal 1-2 and Spalletti’s team is on a great form and close on Napoli on the 2nd position. Various rumours in Italy considers the transfer of Luka Modric in January for Inter Milan to increase their chances for the Scudetto. If this transfer happens, Inter will accomplish one of the best transfer in their history. Moreover, Juventus, Milan and Napoli won their games, and the ranking table in Serie A remains the same for game week 8.
Comments: Borussia Dortmund won Augsburg with 4-3 after a stunning hat-trick of Paco Alcacer. Barcelona’s striker is on his best form and leads the BVB to the top of Bundesliga. In contrast, Bayern Munich lost 0-3 from Monchengladbach. Another disappointing result and the second defeat in a row in the league.
